October 2023 OOC Intro


Hello, Visitors, and welcome to Ashbrook!

This post is a place for you to introduce yourself and your new character to the game!

You can also use this post as an opportunity to coordinate roles with other players! Are your characters neighbors, or perhaps even roommates? Do they go to school together? Hi! I think Rastaban and Shinjiro hit it off pretty well on the tdm and a connection with their Ashbrook selves could be fun! Rastaban works as a gardener for various non-profit local establishments, such as the Community Center and he was roped into helping the community theatre as a pinch hitter when someone falls out for whatever reason, if either of those interest you.

Also I saw on discord that you are looking for an AU girlfriend. How about a crush? Rastaban's female performances are well regarded by the likes of young men like Ricky Mallory, who doesn't believe for a second Rastaban doesn't have a twin sister he's hiding somewhere. Maybe Ashbrook Shinjiro also thinks Rasta is a secret twin sister?

hello! i’m down with having cr to do with the community center and such c: perhaps he signed up to do some set building for one of rastaban’s plays?

wrt the girlfriend thing, though, an unrequited crush is not what i’m looking for haha, i was more wanting someone with whom NPCs would be expecting him to keep up appearances, where it’d be super awkward for both parties. ty for the interest tho!

Sure! That sounds great! Theatre connections are fun since it also involves Rasta, which he usually only tells his friends about. He's not used to other people knowing he's both.

whoops hahaha. shinji's v much a 'stay out of my private business & i'll stay out of yours' type at least!

perhaps he can hunt shinji down to actually do his job bc he won't actually have kept track of most of the things his au self is up to 8'))

Shinji is now Rastaban's best friend here. Most people are too nosy.

lol that sounds great! Rastaban will grumble about it the whole time. He's an overworked nursing student, gardener and theatre helper. Hunting down workers is not part of his job description!
