October 2023 OOC Intro


Hello, Visitors, and welcome to Ashbrook!

This post is a place for you to introduce yourself and your new character to the game!

You can also use this post as an opportunity to coordinate roles with other players! Are your characters neighbors, or perhaps even roommates? Do they go to school together? I love Break and I'm excited for Rastaban to meet him!

In Ashbrook Rastaban has been roped into help the community theatre as a pinch hitter when someone falls out for whatever reason and his female performances are well-regarded. He even has a fan club, which the real Rastaban is going to hate. He's a prickly introvert that just wants to be left in peace!

Sorry for the delay, been a rough week -- looks like we have instant CR then! Reading over Rastaban's info I'm curious to see how they get on. I can see a lot of connections between them, between being prickly introverts and Break's own experience with chronic illness.

Given that the theater will be sort of throwing them together, I'd love to do a closed log for them meeting there if you're up for it? When I get back to tags proper I'm going to run Break's last TDM thread with his proper role in mind, so we could keep "silly tea party in the park" as their first meeting if you like, and set a theater thread later.

No worries! I'm a snail who lives on backtags. A closed theatre log sounds great and I like the idea of setting the theatre thread after their silly tea party! Meeting Rasta first will make his theatre meeting with Rastaban more fun!
