October 2023 OOC Intro


Hello, Visitors, and welcome to Ashbrook!

This post is a place for you to introduce yourself and your new character to the game!

You can also use this post as an opportunity to coordinate roles with other players! Are your characters neighbors, or perhaps even roommates? Do they go to school together? Hello again, Ashbrook! It's Kei once more, bringing you my second character: Chuuya Nakahra from Bungou Stray Dogs! In canon he is an orphaned science experiment turned child gang leader turned high-ranking member of the mafia! He is also a wine enthusiast and has gravity powers.

In Ashbrook, Chuuya lives a much simpler life as a motorcycle mechanic. He hangs out with Marshall a lot and has as a reputation for being an incredibly honest mechanic. However, he's not popular with Sebastian or the other the forest rangers because of his off-road motorcycle habits.

When it comes to role connections I am looking for...

FAMILY! Chuuya is the second oldest of 5! He has an older sibling (24-27ish) and 3 younger siblings (10-19ish). These slots are all open for the taking! Please come get yourself an older/younger brother. (He also has a single mom but I'm not sure anyone here is old enough for that role.)

FRIENDS OF FAMILY! Alternately, come grab you the cool older brother of your friend! Chuuya's siblings can be in any grade from 4th to a college graduate, so that's an easy way for him to get secondhand CR with any students in the game.

RANDOM POSITIVE CR! Honestly, hit me with your best shot. You want to be a customer? Friend? Fellow wine enthusiast? Casual boy/girlfriend? Let's figure it out.

But please, I would love for Kanou and Chuuya to be instant enemies complete with attempts on each other's life. Chuuya even has a canon reason to not be fond of mad scientist types!

Chuuya gets a box of doughnuts delivered to his doorstep after Kanou hears Sebastian bitching about him one morning and asks his bestie the Sheriff who the fuck this guy is. The Doughnuts Are Fine. shit like that. it's gonna happen

Pitch: Chuuya is the perfect age to know Kota, Yoshiki's AU brother and all around nice, friendly guy who attends and plays hockey for the local university.

Cause for pitch: it'd be very funny to me for the mutual realization to hit that 'random woods strangling man' is at least an acquaintance of Yoshiki's brother.

Perfect. I was thinking Chuuya probably rushed through a business degree because it makes getting a business loan easier, so he and Kota could definitely know one another.

Also it's just extremely funny to think of Chuuya getting invited to a backyard BBQ by this guy he supposedly knows only for him and Yoshiki to have to try to be very normal around one another.

Yoshiki would be semi-convinced if Kota found out he'd be the one in trouble so yeah, they have to keep this quiet forever, Chuuya, please don't tell on him for being a Woods Weirdo!

Hi! I already love your creative take on Rastaban's magic and I look forward to seeing how their first meeting goes!

Negative CR for their AU selves could be fun! Rastaban is a pinch hitter for the community theatre when someone falls out for whatever reason. His female roles are well regarded by the likes of young men like Ricky Mallory and he has gained a bit of a following. Marshall Wagner doesn't like him because his fan club disrupts his quiet café. Rastaban would take quite a bit of satisfaction if this annoyed Chuuya because his noisy motorcycle ruins his peace and quiet.

Let me know your thoughts! I'm open to other ideas as well.
